Liyan (b.1986)
I am an Interactive Designer, Motion Graphics Designer and Illustrator from Singapore. From 2004 to 2007, I studied at Nanyang Polytechnic, under the course of Digital Media Design. During this period of 3 years in school life, my work was sent to The Crowbar Awards and won a Finalist in the Interactive category and gained the opportunity for an internship at Ogilvy & Mather Singapore. I started to expose myself to the working industry at a very young age during my polytechnic life by freelancing for clients like MediaCorp Studio.
Upon graduation, I started as a Motion Graphics Designer with a production company, Emoxis llp where I gained experience in corporate video, visual effects and handling on all the online applications for projects like Forbes, MediaCorp, DBS Bank and Institute of Technical Education.
Having the experience on motion graphics, where I can applied my skills on flash animation which is a credit for online application. In August 2007, I joined Saatchi & Saatchi as a Digital Designer, whereby I am involved in both conceptualising and responsible for the all the design of online executions for UOB, Sony Ericsson, Singapore Navy, Tiger Beer, ESPN STAR Sports.
Currently, I am a freelance Interactive Designer, handling websites, motion graphics, prints and illustrations.
